As September has now arrived, we are at the stage where you must purchase your player's (or yours, if you're on our men's team) Basketball England (BE) player's license directly from BE.

This is a very important process, it is a player's insurance policy to train, play and compete. No license = no basketball.

The purchase process is quite straightforward to work through yourself. But if not, helpful instructions can be found on this Pitchero link .

All club members will have received full instructions on how to do this from our Basketball England Membership Coordinator, Andy Weir and are already carrying out this action, thank you!

For those who haven't...

OPTION 1 If you are NEW to basketball and DO NOT already have a BE membership for your player(s), please start the process from this link and purchase a player's license appropriate to your team.

PARENTS/GUARDIANS, PLEASE MAKE SURE TO COMPLETE THE REGISTRATION ON BEHALF OF YOUR PLAYER AND ENTER THEIR DETAILS, especially THEIR DATE OF BIRTH, not your own.

Remember to CONNECT YOUR PLAYER'S BE ACCOUNT TO ABINGDON EAGLES in the 'CLUBS & TEAMS' subsection using club code CA1408. Click on the small magnifying glass and select Abingdon Eagles.

Top tip: Have a head and shoulders photo of your player to hand to upload to their account in the 'ELIGIBILITY' section.

And finally, purchase your player's 'Junior players licence' at the end of the process (checkout).

OPTION 2 If you/your player(s) DOES already have a BE account, log in via this link using your player's BE membership number A??????. And purchase their 'Junior players license' directly with BE. Update any items that are listed in the 'ELIGIBILTY' subsection in their account.

PARENTS/GUARDIANS PLEASE NOTE ADDITIONAL INFORMATION REQUIRED FOR YBL & NL:

Tip tip - National League players must have a head and shoulders photo uploaded to their 'ELIGIBILITY' section, AS WELL AS a photo of their passport info page OR birth certificate and purchase a junior 'NL' license

If you or your player are a coach or official, please don't forget to also purchase your licenses for these roles.
