AEBC has been given approval to clean up a local community basketball court. Abingdon Eagles are eager for its members to spread the Eagles spirit during the last weekends of the Summer to refresh a rather unloved (and therefore unused) basketball court within the OX13 community.

Wootton Community Centre have a facility they own, that is in desperate need of some TLC. The court itself is of a good standing but just needs tidying up to make it usable. It has smashed glass, discarded rubbish as well as overgrown hedgerows and missing boundary boards. The future that is planned for the court is newly painted court lines and possibly more hoops and who knows another full sized 3v3 court at the other end.

All members and players from u10 through to our Men's team are invited and encouraged to attend and take part in the Community Court Clean Up event.

This Saturday - August 22nd and next Saturday - August 29th.
