Registering with Basketball England (BE)
BE is our Governing body. They provide licenses for all players to become eligible to train as well as play games, this license includes the player's insurance - EVERY player of EVERY age, at EVERY level must be registered with BE and have a player's licence to train / play / compete in basketball at Abingdon Eagles.
FIRST, BECOME A MEMBER OF BE

PARENTS - PLEASE MAKE SURE TO COMPLETE THE REGISTRATION ON BEHALF OF YOUR PLAYER AND ENTER THEIR DETAILS, ESPECIALLY DATE OF BIRTH, NOT YOUR OWN.

Once the player's BE MEMBERSHIP account is set up, you will need to connect it to AEBC's. You can do this in:

NEXT, PURCHASE A PLAYER'S LICENSE DIRECTLY FROM BE
All players junior and senior, at all levels will need to purchase a Players License directly from BE on your account. You will need to chose from:
INSTRUCTIONS ON HOW TO PURCHASE A PLAYER'S LICENSE
1. Log into the Player's BE account - click this link
2. From the Home screen (My Locker), select Licenses, then select the "+ Add Licences" box and use the dropdown boxes to:
Select a Licence Type – Player for players, coaches / officials please choose appropriate role
3. What league level do you wish to be licensed to participate in?
National League for National League players, Local League for all other players
4. What age category of teams do you participate with
Junior Only for junior players or Senior Only for Mens & Masters
5. After selecting confirm, on the 'Review and Checkout' page select 'Pay Now Online' and complete the payment and billing information (with the card holder's details).
6. Finally go back to My Locker, select the 'Eligibility Tab 'and check there is a green box at the top right that says 'Eligibility Criteria Met'. If not ,then a photo or passport information page needs to be uploaded or updated.
7. Follow the on screen prompts to submit and upload the required info.
